Nyla Crider is originally from Illinois and has resided in Orange County since 2004. She graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with honors studying English Education. She taught for four years at St. Augustine Classical Academy. This is where she developed her passion for classical education. She uses various methods including songs, chants, dictation, and narration to enhance the child’s retention of information. She is no stranger to homeschooling and has taught her children at home for seven years. She also worked at Heart Christian Academy teaching first grade for two years. She is also an independent facilitator for Love and Logic and teaches classes to parents and teachers.
